I have had 3 passions in life. One is nursing which has been my entire career; the other two are pottery and sewing. I have now retired from nursing and can focus on my creative interests!
POttery
Each piece is crafted in Maine and is unique. My style continues to evolve. I prefer a natural aesthetic and functional pieces. My work is fired in my propane/ wood-fired, salt and soda kiln, seen below. The blend of salt/soda with a select group of glazes creates unique textures and colors evocative of nature. Colors, shapes, textures are all designed to bring warmth and beauty to any space.
Sounds of the woods and wildlife create such positive Karma for firing!
